Taystful Online Chocolate Tasting Session 4th July 2021

Online Tasting Session in Recognition of World Chocolate Day (it is 7th July 2021)

This online evening chocolate tasting session via Zoom enables us to savour a variety of interesting chocolates from around the globe (including some chocolate I've flavoured here at Taystful!) together while you are in your own home or workspace, all the while being able to communicate and see myself and other participants...as near to a face to face tasting session as possible, while apart! 

The session will be around 1 hour (we may run over). Places will be limited, so we can discuss the flavours easily. 

This particular session is suitable for anyone who loves chocolate and would like to learn more of the origins, flavour notes and textures! You can have more than one person in your house/workspace tasting the chocolates with you (just register one person/space), as long as you are happy they are on the Zoom online session. You will receive  of at least 14 types of tasting sized chocolates, but you have the option to double up quantities if required! (see the drop down menu when ordering). 

You will receive a visual sensory wheel to help with your experience, and information on tasting chocolate in general via email.

Price: online participation plus chocolates package sent to you £20 (add an extra taster of each chocolate in the same box for £5).

This course is held by Shona Sutherland, winner of the Chocolate Category of the Scottish Baking Awards 2014, the Chocolate Category of the National Chocolate Awards at the Perth Chocolate Festival 2014, Gold Medal and Best in Class Winner at the Scottish Culinary Championships in the Chocolate Display Class at ScotHot 2015, Gold and Silver Medal winner for filled chocolates at ScotHot 2017, Bronze medallist for chocolate showpiece at the Culinary World Cup in Luxembourg 2018, and member of the Scottish Culinary Team. 

Time: 7pm to 8pm approx (may run over)

Restrictions: This course is only available to those over 16 years of age, unless accompanied by a parent or guardian online.

NB. ALLERGENS PRESENT IN THE PRODUCTS: MILK, SOYA LECITHIN. TRACES OF NUTS, PEANUT, GLUTEN, EGG MAY ALSO BE PRESENT.
